Let The Bullets Fly (China)
Wow, you really went through a lot of trouble! Good job.
Hi, cool post. I have been thinking about this topic,so thanks for sharing. I will probably be subscribing to your blog. Keep up great writing!!!

For Best Actor, I'm probably rooting for Clooney in THE DESCENDANTS, because he was THAT good.
Playing a badass seldom gets you an Oscar win, so no hope for Ryan Gosling in DRIVE.
Best Actress. Yes, I'm rooting for Viola.
Best Supporting Actor. Christopher Plummer was THAT good in Beginners (interestingly, the editor of Beginners and I were co-editors of the Girl In The Water short film). A Cory Stoll nomination would be great.
Supporting Actress. I root for Jessica Chastain or Octavia Spencer.
Cinematography will easily be Tree of Life.
Best Art Direction would have been Almodovar's The Skin I Live In. But it won't be an Oscar competitor.
No Harry Potter for Visual effects?
Foreign Film. A SEPARATION. Pretty damn good film.
BTW: Let The Bullets Fly won't even be eligible for the Oscars. China's Oscar submission is Zhang Yimou's Flowers of War.
